Fire simulations
The ventilation work we develop has been conducted in important mining companies in Latin America. Simulations and reports allow a true understanding of the ventilation conditions in your underground assets.
For supporting our clients in their ventilation Engineering process, our staff can provide
- Review of the current ventilation model
- Definition of critical infrastructure and equipment to establish fire scenarios
- Sizing of ventilation devices in case of fire: fans, doors, gates, covers, regulators
- Mitigation strategies for each fire scenario
- Creation of videos showing smoke movement during fires and evacuation routes to enhance authorities' understanding during reviews
- Simulation report and required mitigation plans for obtaining approvals from government entities
Project Commisioning
Our engineers have supported loads of mining companies in the approval of their projects, carrying out strategic Engineering and operation plans. The MiningiDEAS ventilation team has experience in commissioning large-scale projects.
MiningiDEAS guide its clients during the acquisition processes of ventilation equipment from industrial suppliers in order to guarantee the adequate purchase and the correct start-up of the system
Our consulting is focused on:
- Support for equipment acquisition
- Analysis of equipment assembly and maintenance
- Support in logistics, spare parts, maintenance periods, among others.
- Support in the final reception of the project
- Air-flow measurement and inspection of proper installation

- (News) Minera Candelaria receives approval for its operational continuity project.
MiningiDEAS was involved in the Environmental Impact Study project "Optimization and Operational Continuity," presented to SERNAGEOMIN in Chile for the exploitation of approximately 350 million additional tons. The investment amounts to approximately US $600 million. MiningiDEAS was responsible for ventilation engineering.
